Txai Macedo, the greatest indigenous advocate of Acre, a forest hero who aided in identifying and demarcating over 50 indigenous lands, guides us on a journey through the territories of nine ethnic groups in the state. We will revisit the past 40 years of struggle for land and dignity, engaging in conversations with the leaders who lived through this history. However, our primary focus will be on getting to know the young indigenous individuals who, equipped with knowledge from the past, look towards the future and seek solutions for the challenges that arise after land demarcation: the expansion of rights, the reinforcement of culture, food security, and the preservation of the forest.
